When Dimitar Berbatov is talking about having more passion than an opponent, you know that opponent has put in a poor performance.
And that truly is the case, as Arsenal fell behind 2-0 in Monaco -- at home -- in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg.

It got even worse, though. After Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made it 2-1 in stoppage time, Monaco got a third goal before the final whistle.
Berbatov said a cocky Gunners side underestimated his Red and Whites. Cue Sky Sports:“We are confident in our ability so honestly we deserved to win. We scored our chances and in the end it’s a great win for us. It’s not over, we have one more game in Monaco and Arsenal are a great team.
“We are good. Arsenal is a good team but today probably we wanted the win more than them. We fought all over the pitch, won our challenges and scored the goals.
“In a team like Arsenal I don’t think they can allow themselves to underestimate our team today but if they did then it’s up to them.”
Oh, you know the former Spurs man knows what he’s doing here, having a dig at his former North London rivals while trumpeting his own laissez-faire attitude.
Dig in, Dimitar. Dig in.
