According to the Sunday Express, the Citizens are keeping a close eye on Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez in the event that the Chilean doesn’t sign a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Sanchez, 27, is reportedly seeking over $223,000 per week as contract negotiations continue with the Gunners. The two-time Copa America champion is currently under contract with Arsenal until 2018, however, it remains to be seen if the club will be able to hold onto its star winger.
The Citizens have been known to have no restrictions when it comes to spending in the transfer window, so finding the funds to acquire Sanchez wouldn’t be an issue. Prior to the 2016/17 season, Guardiola and City spent over $188 million in signing eight players.
