USC safety Kevin Ellison will miss two to four weeks after suffering a knee injury in Thursday’s practice, the school has announced.Ellison, a senior and three-year starter, will have arthroscopic surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee. In his absence, Will Harris will start.It shouldn’t matter today against winless Washington, but the Trojans will miss Ellison next week against Cal. Ellison is one of the Trojans’ top defensive players. He was an All-Pac-10 selection last season and was on the Nagurski Award watch list heading into this season.Harris has played every game this season as a backup and special teams player.
