Free agent RHP Domingo Germán is drawing interest from as many as six teams, including the Orioles and Blue Jays, according to NY Post’s, Mark W. Sanchez.
Germán, according to Sanchez, has completed the required steps of an inpatient treatment program after his season ended on August 3rd, when he sought help for alcohol abuse after an incident in the Yankees clubhouse. The 30-year-old right-hander posted a 4.56 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 108 2/3 innings; however, he also posted his highest strikeout rate since 2019. He figures to get a chance to fill out the back of somebody’s rotation in 2023 but where he lands will determine just how much fantasy value he has.
