  • MIA Left Fielder #1
Nick Gordon went 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored in a 12-3 win over the A’s on Sunday.
Gordon got the party started with a 406-foot home run off Joe Boyle in the first inning that was 104.7 mph off the bat and drove in three runs. He added two more singles and a double, all of which were hit at least 98 mph. The 28-year-old has started four of the last six games but is slashing just .207/.241/.390 on the season with four home runs and 15 RBI. He should be left on the wire outside of the deepest formats.
  • KC Starting Pitcher #50
Kris Bubic (elbow) will make a minor league rehab start on Sunday for Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
It’ll be Bubic’s first outing outside of a trio of Rookie-level Arizona Complex League appearances earlier this month, since undergoing Tommy John surgery last April. The 26-year-old southpaw will presumably take a few weeks ramping up in the upper minors before he’s an option for Kansas City’s starting rotation mix. Fantasy managers should employ a wait-and-see approach, but he showed some encouraging signs last year prior to getting hurt.
  • NYY Left Fielder #22
Juan Soto went 4-for-4 with two homers and three RBI to power the Yankees to a 6-1 win over the White Sox on Saturday.
Soto blasted a solo homer in the first inning to put the Yankees on the board, his tenth of the season. He drove in another run with a single in the second, then went yard once again to lead off the fifth. A base hit in the eighth would make it a perfect day at the plate. It was the first multi-homer game for Soto as a member of the Yankees. The 25-year-old star outfielder is slashing .317/.414/.561 with 11 homers, 32 runs scored, 37 RBI, and four steals across 215 plate appearances.
  • NYY Right Fielder #27
Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a walk against the White Sox on Saturday.
Stanton doubled in the first inning to drive in a run for the Yankees. He then homered off Brad Keller in the third before drawing a walk to reach for a third time in the fifth inning. The 34-year-old slugger is heating up along with the rest of the Yankees lineup. He’s now had multiple hits in four of his last five games, including three homers. Stanton is hitting .258/.309/.530 with 11 homers and 26 RBI across 162 plate appearances.
  • CWS Center Fielder #28
Tommy Pham went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored against the Yankees on Saturday.
Pham led off the game with a base hit off Luis Gil and came around to score on a double by Andrew Benintendi. It was the only run the White Sox could score as they were shut down through the rest of the game. Pham added a double in the second for his second hit of the game. The 36-year-old veteran outfielder is slashing .346/.386/.500 with two homers and two steals across 83 plate appearances.
  • NYY Starting Pitcher #81
Luis Gil allowed one run with 14 strikeouts over six innings in a win over the White Sox on Saturday.
Gil turned in a dominant performance after a shaky first inning. Two base hits, a double, and a walk brought a run in to score and loaded the bases before Gil struck out the final batter to end the opening frame. He allowed just two more hits across five more scoreless innings, striking out a career-high 14 batters on 22 whiffs. The 25-year-old right-hander ends the day with an impressive 2.39 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 62/27 K/BB ratio across 49 innings. Gil is in line for a start against the Mariners in New York on Thursday.
  • ATL Third Baseman #27
Austin Riley (side) remains out of the lineup for Saturday’s tilt against the Padres.
Riley will miss his fifth straight contest due to left side inflammation. There’s a possibility he’ll be ready to go at some point later this weekend, but Atlanta clearly doesn’t want to take any chances by rushing him back too quickly. It’ll be Zack Short drawing another start at the hot corner in his ongoing absence.
  • CWS Starting Pitcher #46
Brad Keller surrendered six runs -- five earned -- with four strikeouts over four innings in a loss to the Yankees on Saturday.
Keller gave up two runs in the first inning, including a solo homer by Juan Soto. The home run troubles continued with Jose Trevino and Giancarlo Stanton going deep for solo shots before Soto hit his second of the game in the fifth inning. Keller left a baserunner on with no outs in the fifth before his day was done. The 28-year-old right-hander will take a 4.86 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and a 13/6 K/BB ratio across 16 2/3 innings into a matchup against the Orioles in Chicago on Thursday.
  • ATL Catcher #16
Travis d’Arnaud (head) is not in the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Padres.
No surprise here after d’Arnaud was removed from Friday’s game after experiencing dizziness following a foul ball to the mask. Initial tests indicated he didn’t suffer a concussion, but he’s had four concussions already in his career, so the Braves are going to proceed with caution. He’s day-to-day with a head contusion for the moment.
  • SF Center Fielder #26
Giants claimed OF Ryan McKenna from the Orioles.
McKenna bolsters San Francisco’s outfield depth, which has been depleted in recent weeks due to injury, which includes losing center fielder Jung Hoo Lee for the rest of the season to shoulder surgery. The 27-year-old was designated for assignment earlier this week by the Orioles after getting into just nine games this season in the big leagues.
  • SF Center Fielder #51
Giants transferred OF Jung Hoo Lee to the 60-day injured list.
The procedural move opens up a spot on San Francisco’s 40-man roster to claim outfielder Ryan McKenna off waivers from Baltimore. Lee is set to undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
