Ezequiel Tovar went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored versus the Giants on Sunday.
Pitchers just can’t seem to sufficiently exploit Tovar’s tendency to swing at absolutely everything., He has a 39/2 K/BB in his last 28 games, but his numbers have held up anyway. The only disappointment here is that he’s a mere 4-for-8 stealing bases this season.

Hunter Goodman hit a two-run homer in a loss Monday to the Rockies.
Goodman got the Rockies back into the game with a two-run homer off Anthony Benda to make it 5-3. The 25-year-old has shown some solid pop with four homers and a .468 slugging percentage over 51 at-bats, but he’s essentially a one-category player for fantasy purposes.
  • LAD Right Fielder #50
Mookie Betts scored twice and hit a two-run homer in a win over the Rockies on Monday.
Betts gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead with no one out against the ever-so-ineffective Antonio Senzatela in the first inning. The 32-year-old is now in double-digits in RBI, and he’s homered four times with a .994 OPS. He also is a very good bowler.
  • LAD Designated Hitter #17
Shohei Ohtani went 3-for-5, scored three runs and homered in a 5-3 win over the Rockies on Monday.
Ohtani is now up to five homers on the season, but it’s the first time he’s been able to go deep since April 7; a major power outage — for him, anyway. The 30-year-old has done nothing over the first 17 games of 2025 to suggest he won’t be as good as any hitter in baseball, even with a week without dingers.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #85
Dustin May held the Rockies to one earned run with seven strikeouts to get a win over the Rockies on Monday.
By allowing the run on a Kyle Farmer double, May’s ERA has erupted all the way up to 1.06. His control was the best he’s shown all year, as he didn’t walk anyone and landed 52-of-76 pitches for strikes. May has been impressive to begin 2025, and he doesn’t look like he wants to give up the rotation spot. His next outing comes against the Rangers on Sunday.
  • LAD Relief Pitcher #66
Tanner Scott hurled a scoreless ninth inning despite allowing two hits against the Rockies on Monday.
Scott put the go-ahead run at the plate with one out, but he was able to strike out Jacob Stallings and got Ezequiel Tovar to ground out to end the contest. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing for the 30-year-old, but he has still been able to pick up five saves with a 3.00 ERA.
  • COL Starting Pitcher #49
Antonio Senzatela was charged for four runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings pitched to get a loss Monday to the Dodgers.
Need to get your batting average up? Make sure you’re in the lineup against Antonio Senzatela. He’s now allowed 36 hits over his four starts, and that’s over only 18 innings. Two of those hits allowed were homers; a two-run shot by Mookie Betts and a solo blast by Shohei Ohtani. Senzatela will either give up 15 hits or throw a no-hitter against the Nationals over the weekend because that’s how this sport works.
  • CHC 1st Baseman #29
Michael Busch hit a two-run homer Monday in a loss to the Padres.
Busch continues to impress in 2025, and he’s up to four homers and 12 RBI over 58 at-bats with the two-run shot in the blowout loss Monday night. The former first-round pick is showing he’s capable of being a starting first baseman in fantasy formats in 2025 and beyond.
  • CHC Center Fielder #4
Pete Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in a loss to the Padres on Monday.
The stolen base was the seventh of the year for Crow-Armstrong, but he did get caught stealing for the first time. Hard to complain about that success rate. The outfielder bumps up his slash to .257/.313/.432 with the three-hit night, and that sort of undersells how good Crow-Armstrong has played over the first few weeks of the campaign.
  • SD 2nd Baseman #4
Luis Arraez doubled and homered Monday in a victory over the Cubs.
Luis Arraez: Extra-base hit machine. The homer is the second for the contact-geared hitter, and the double is the third. He also singled, and a batting average that was down to .129 over a week ago is now up to .282.
  • SD Right Fielder #23
Fernando Tatis Jr. homered twice and drove in three runs in a 10-4 win for the Padres on Monday over the Cubs.
Tatis Jr. has shown off his impressive power in the early portion of the season, and the pair of roundtrippers now have his total up to six. He also walked and scored a third run, and the first tenth of the season — even while dealing with a shoulder issue — couldn’t have gone much better for the 26-year-old. There’s a very good chance that this could be the best season of Tatis Jr’s, career, and that’s saying something.
