This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. We’ll take a look at the nine-game main slate starting at 7:30 ET on Thursday.
POINT GUARD
Spencer Dinwiddie - Brooklyn (at San Antonio)
Kyrie Irving is still out for the Nets, so Dinwiddie will keep doing his thing with a healthy usage rate. That should come in handy against a San Antonio team that ranks 19th in defensive efficiency to point guards. Dinwiddie has averaged a steady 42 FPPG over his last nine, and that represents solid value on his current salary. He’s cheaper than other high-end point guards like Russell Westbrook or Trae Young while still holding 40-50 FP potential. Add it all up, and Dinwiddie profiles as a safe play with room for upside in a non-imposing draw.

SHOOTING GUARD
Donte DiVincenzo - Milwaukee (vs. LA Lakers)
Eric Bledsoe has missed the last two games with a lower leg injury, and it appears that he’ll be sidelined for at least another week or two. Donte DiVincenzo has thrived in his absence, producing 35 and 42 fantasy points in 25 and 29 minutes respectively. That level of efficiency is hard to rely on, but there’s no doubt that DiVincenzo is capitalizing on the increased opportunities. I believe that he’s still cheap enough to expect a solid return on investment, even if he doesn’t maintain his brisk fantasy pace. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 27-30 fantasy points would suffice, and we know DiVincenzo has upside beyond that if things keep going his way.
Also Consider: Donovan Mitchell, Khris Middleton
SMALL FORWARD
Joe Ingles - Utah (at Atlanta)
Mike Conley has been ruled out tonight, which will help solidify an expanded role for wing players like Ingles. It’s not like Ingles wasn’t seeing healthy playing time and production to begin with, as he’s averaging 34 fantasy points and 33 minutes over his last five. Conley’s absence paired with an outstanding matchup at Atlanta (dead last in d-eff to small forwards) makes Ingles a fantastic mid-range lift on tonight’s four-game slate.
Also Consider: LeBron James, Taurean Prince
POWER FORWARD
Kawhi Leonard - LA Clippers (vs. Houston)
This is going to be an exciting game from a real-life and fantasy point of view. Both teams rank in the top ten for possessions per game, hence the 234 over/under. Leonard has more than enough room to thrive in this matchup, as Houston ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency to power forwards. Kawhi was somewhat mediocre Tuesday vs. Phoenix, but that was due to reduced minutes in a blowout. That shouldn’t be a problem tonight, and I’m anticipating a 50-burger from Leonard.
Also Consider: Jarrett Allen, P.J. Tucker
CENTER
JaVale McGee - LA Lakers (at Milwaukee)
There are so many worthy plays in tonight’s slate (Harden, Leonard, James, Antetokounmpo, etc.) that I’m content with going cheap at center. I believe JaVale McGee represents the best way to deploy that strategy, as he would become a no-brainer value commodity if Anthony Davis (questionable) is out. Even if Davis plays, I believe McGee can represent capable fantasy value around 25 fantasy points. There’s always 40+ FP upside in his back pocket as well, as he displayed last week against the Heat.
