The 23-year-old Bai, from China, became the second University of Central Florida alum to medal in a Monday qualifier in the last three weeks, following Connor Arendell in the recent Rocket Mortgage Championship. Bai, who plays full time on the Korn Ferry Tour, will make his second career PGA Tour start and first since his debut in 2019 at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions where he finished T-70. Bai currently stands 122nd on the KFT regular-season points list, having registered one top-10 (sixth at the Huntsville Championship in April) and two top-25 finishes. He’s missed the cut in his last two starts. He joined the PGA Tour China in 2019 and won the Huangshan Championship for his first professional victory and was second in the Haikou Classic. Bai finished seventh on the 2019 PGA Tour China money list.
