Rockets’ Corey Brewer uses spin move, bounce pass to find Trevor Ariza for the slam (VIDEO)
When the Rockets traded for Corey Brewer, it was viewed merely as a solid pickup to add some athletic depth on the wing.
But the returns on the deal for Houston, at least early on, have been better than expected.
In four appearances, Brewer has been a menace defensively, while averaging 16.3 points in 24.3 minutes off the bench. And, while the sample size is small, he’s 13-of-22 from three-point distance, good for a career best shooting number from beyond the arc of 59.1 percent.
This highlight from Monday night’s contest against the Wizards shows Brewer doing what he does best -- creating havoc on the defensive end of the floor, and converting a steal into easy points in transition.
