Bournemouth took a big hit on transfer deadine day, but it had nothing to do with sales or purchases.
Still waiting on the status of record-signing Tyrone Mings, who injured his leg against Leicester City on Saturday, the Cherries learned that electric winger Max Gradel will miss around six months with a ligament tear in his knee.

Gradel, 27, has been fantastic early for Bournemouth, freeing up space for Callum Wilson to strike (if not assisting on goals directly). The 41-times capped Ivory Coast international was bought for more than $10 million this summer.
The Cherries bought striker Glenn Murray from Crystal Palace at the deadline, also adding Joe Bennett on loan from Aston Villa.
