Manchester City is still in the hunt for trophies across four competitions, but they may need narrow their focus.
With three matches next week, manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that he is prioritizing the Champions League over the FA Cup.

City face Chelsea on Sunday in the FA Cup fifth round, and then travel to Ukraine for a Champions League match on Wednesday against Dynamo Kiev. They will then fly back to England and take on Liverpool in the League Cup Final on Sunday at Wembley.
The priority is always the next game, but we must make an exception because of many injuries.
We have just 13 players available to play and have to play the Champions League on Wednesday. We’ll see the best team we can play on Sunday.
I always try to play with a strong team in every competition. They are all important but we must prioritise the Champions League.
Pellegrini would go on to say that younger players will be involved in Sunday’s FA Cup match at Chelsea, resting his top players for the Champions League clash in Kiev. With a cup final on Feb. 28 as well, City’s schedule is packed.

A long trip to Ukraine is never easy for a club, but Pellegrini knows City got a relatively favorable draw with Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League. With an opportunity to reach the quarterfinals for the first time in club history, Pellegrini is right to prioritize.
