The Sparks selected Sania Feagin with the No. 21 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
A two-time NCAA national champion at South Carolina, Feagin saw her role and performance leap from year to year over her four seasons as a Gamecock. The 6-foot-3 forward eventually landed the full-time starting job and a spot on the SEC’s All-Defensive team as a senior, averaging 8.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. Feagin is your old-school type of frontcourt player who doesn’t float out to the three-point line, instead staying inside to battle and do the dirty work. Every team needs a blue-collar player who’ll star in their role and play winning basketball, which Feagin did in college and could continue to do as a Los Angeles Spark.

Kierstan Bell shot 2-of-3 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Sunday’s loss to the Mercury.
Before Sunday, Bell had been a non-factor, totaling 11 points in six appearances. A’ja Wilson’s continued absence meant another opportunity at extended minutes for the fourth-year forward, and she took advantage. The eight points are the most Bell has scored in a game since last September 14, when she tallied 12 in a win over the Dallas Wings. However, even if Wilson remains out for Tuesday’s game against the Lynx, there’s no need to consider adding Bell in fantasy leagues.
Can Fever snap Liberty's unbeaten streak?
Brad Thomas and Vaughn Dalzell handicap the Liberty vs. Fever game on Saturday, with the two eying different sides as Indiana attempts to snap New York's unbeaten streak to start the season.

Kiah Stokes tallied 14 rebounds, one assist and two steals in Sunday’s loss to the Mercury.
Stokes is not relied on for scoring, and she went scoreless on 0-of-5 shooting in Sunday’s defeat. However, the veteran center cleaned the glass at a high level, recording a game (and season-) high 14 rebounds. This was Stokes’ first game hitting double digits in rebounds, something she did on three occasions in 2024. Until A’ja Wilson returns from her concussion, Stokes is essentially a specialist for deep-league fantasy managers needing rebounds.
  • Chelsea Gray recorded 20 points (8-of-17 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Sunday’s loss to the Mercury.
With Aces coach Becky Hammon deciding to go with a smaller starting lineup on Sunday, Gray essentially slotted in as the starting power forward. The “Point Gawd” held her own, grabbing a season-high 10 rebounds while also leading the Aces in scoring. While Gray was also responsible for five turnovers, few would complain about her overall stat line. Elizabeth Kitley, who started Friday’s win over the Wings, played 11 minutes off the bench and finished with two rebounds and a blocked shot. If A’ja Wilson can return for Tuesday’s game against the Lynx, Gray should take on her usual point guard responsibilities.
  • Jewell Loyd accumulated 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Mercury.
After a slow start to her time in Las Vegas, Loyd has been better over her last two games. Including Sunday’s defeat, she’s tallied 38 points on 14-of-24 shooting from the field and eight three-pointers. However, there’s an important caveat: Loyd recorded these numbers with A’ja Wilson sidelined. The three-time MVP has missed Las Vegas’s last two games due to concussion protocols, freeing up additional opportunities for the available scorers. The key for Loyd will be to carry over her production from this weekend when Wilson returns, possibly as soon as Tuesday against the Lynx.
  • Jackie Young amassed 15 points (4-of-14 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, one block and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Mercury.
Young was one of three Aces to score at least 15 points on Sunday, but her efficiency took a hit after stellar efforts against the Sparks and Wings. She shot 4-of-14 from the field, with a solid day at the foul line boosting Young’s point total. In the games against Los Angeles and Dallas, she scored 64 points on 19-of-40 shooting from the field. However, all was not lost for Young on Sunday, as she recorded solid rebound and assist numbers. She’ll look to bounce back when the Aces visit Minnesota on Tuesday, the final day of Commissioner Cup conference play.
  • Alyssa Thomas tallied 14 points (7-of-11 FGs), six rebounds, 13 assists, two steals and one block in Sunday’s win over the Aces.
With Kahleah Copper making her Mercury debut, there was another potential beneficiary of Thomas’ playmaking abilities. And the veteran forward dished out 13 assists, two shy of her season-high and three shy of her career-high. Add in the points and rebounds, and Thomas dropped a robust stat line with just one issue: turnovers. She was responsible for six on the day, matching her season-high. That is not something fantasy managers should lose sleep over, especially with AT on a streak of three consecutive double-doubles.
  • Satou Sabally accounted for 22 points (6-of-14 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers.
Sabally came out hot Sunday afternoon, tallying 18 points, six rebounds, one assist and two three-pointers in the first half. While she wasn’t nearly as impactful in the second half, the Mercury forward finished with a complete stat line to help Phoenix moved to 4-2 in Commissioner’s Cup play. Due to tiebreakers, it will be difficult for them to grab the top spot, but Sabally’s excellent start to her first season with the Mercury is of greater importance. Amid the most productive season of her career, Sabally appears poised to earn her third All-Star game selection.
  • Kahleah Copper (knee) finished Sunday’s win over the Aces with 11 points (4-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer.
Copper was available to play for the first time this season after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on her knee in mid-May. Unsurprisingly, the Mercury restricted Copper’s minutes, but she was in the starting lineup. “Kah” played 18 minutes, which was enough time for her to hit double figures in scoring and finish a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Sami Whitcomb moved to the bench but still played 23 minutes, finishing with 18 points (7-of-14 FGs), two rebounds and four three-pointers. The minutes split will shift as Copper shakes off the rust, but the Mercury begin next week with a Wednesday/Thursday back-to-back against the Sun and Liberty. For that reason, there may be another start in Whitcomb’s future.
  • Monique Akoa Makani, Kahleah Copper, Alyssa Thomas, Satou Sabally and Kathryn Westbeld will start Sunday’s game against the Aces.
Copper will make her long-awaited season debut after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on her knee in May. The talented wing will do so as a starter, with Sami Whitcomb being bumped to the bench. While Whitcomb will still play solid rotation minutes, her fantasy ceiling is lowered with Copper in the mix.
  • Chelsea Gray, Jewell Loyd, Jackie Young, Tiffany Mitchell and Kiah Stokes will start Sunday’s game against the Mercury.
Sunday’s game is the second A’ja Wilson has missed after entering the league’s concussion protocol. While Elizabeth Kitley replaced her in the starting lineup for Friday’s win over the Wings, Aces coach Becky Hammon has decided to go small on Sunday. Mitchell moves into the starting lineup, meaning Las Vegas will need more activity across the board from a rebounding standpoint. The other four starters are unchanged.
