Bride winds up getting a spot on Miami’s season-opening roster with Xavier Edwards on the injured list and versatile reserve Jon Berti being shipped to the Yankees.

Montas gave up four hits, walked three and struck out five. He’s won only one of his last 11 starts and has only three quality starts in 13 starts this year. Three years removed from a season with 207 strikeouts and a 3.37 ERA, Montas is just about off the fantasy radar at this point. The 31-year-old right-hander is set to face the Red Sox at home next week.

Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D. Martinez so there will likely be many more opportunities for him to drive in runs.

Arraez was on point in this one. All five of his balls in play were hit at least 95 MPH and he continues to be an engine atop the Padres’ order. His batting average is up to .326 which is best in the National League among qualified players.

The Mets jumped all over Cease with a four-run first inning and sent him packing before he could finish four innings. His command was poor overall and he served up meatballs to Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso that found the seats. This was only the third time this season Cease did not complete at least five innings and it’s unlikely Sunday’s start becomes part of a larger trend.

Megill’s growth over the past few weeks has been nice to watch. Still fastball dominant, Megill has done a great job developing a bevy of passable secondary pitches to supplement his strong heater. He generated at least one whiff on six different pitches Sunday - five of which had exactly one whiff - while mostly staying out of trouble. Efficiency still eludes Megill, but he’s turned himself into a solid starter.

Rea gave up four hits, walked one and struck out six. The win was his sixth of the year and he’s now won two starts in a row. Rea made two errors on pickoff throws, which contributed to one of his runs allowed being unearned. Despite his success this year, nothing has really changed from his profile last year when he had a 4.55 ERA for Milwaukee. The 33-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres on the road next week.

It was a quiet afternoon for the Athletics offense as they managed only two runs in the loss to the Twins. Bleday had two hits, though, and is now 7-for-18 (.388) over his last five games. The third-year outfielder is currently enjoying his best season with a .773 OPS.

Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.

Correa continues his hot streak at the dish. The two home runs give him eight total on the season and his average is up to .306 with an .879 OPS. He’s been as good as a player can be in fantasy without stealing bases.

Sears gave up nine hits, walked four and struck out one. Three of the hits allowed were home runs. Despite a 16 percent strikeout percentage, Sears has been somewhat usable in fantasy at home as he has a 3.31 ERA in six home starts. Otherwise, he’s off the fantasy radar. The 28-year-old left-hander is set to face the Twins at home next week.
