Charles Oakley gives his full version of ejection from Knicks game (VIDEO)

There has been significant back-and-forth after former New York Knicks big man Charles Oakley got into an altercation with Knicks security on Wednesday. Oakley was ejected from the arena, then charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault.

Several current and former NBA players have come out in support of Oakley, including LeBron James, Chris Paul, and Reggie Miller. Oakley has been spotted hanging with Knicks superfan Spike Lee, who has said he sides with Oak.

The team’s PR released a statement regarding the incident via Twitter on Thursday, and now it appears Oakley has responded with a full version of his side of things, both in interviews with local papers and on video.

During a sit down with a TV station in New York, Oakley said he was just trying to sit down and have a good time, and that he was not told why he was ordered to leave.

We’ve yet to see what will happen between Oakley, the Knicks, and Dolan, but hopefully it will be resolved sooner rather than later.
