Benfica manager Jorge Jesus is a passionate man.
But few could imagine just how much love he has for supporters until yesterday when he literally fought police to help a fan who had run onto the pitch and was getting pummeled by police.
The incident took place after his side came out victors in a hard fought 1-0 win at Vitoria Guimaraes.
Following the match Benfica fans spilled onto the field in celebration and authorities were quick to handle the situation. Apparently for Jesus, however, the handling by the authorities was a bit too rough.
