Diego Costa will miss Chelsea’s next four games.
On Friday Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho revealed the extent of the Spanish strikers left hamstring injury, as Costa lasted just 11 minutes of the Blues’ 2-1 home win over Stoke City last Saturday after coming on at half time.

Costa, 26, has been plagued with a persistent hamstring injury over the past 12 months which has impacted the number of games he is able to play and he will now miss matches against Queens Park Rangers, Manchester United, Arsenal and Leicester City.
Mourinho, speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s trip to QPR on Sunday (Watch live, 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and online via Live Extra) claimed that Costa would only be available for the final four games of Chelsea’s season as the west London side aim to clinch the Premier League title.
Costa has scored 19 goals in his debut season in the PL and is the joint-highest scorer alongside Harry Kane, but after struggling with injury, a lengthy suspension and suffering a loss of form in recent months the former Atletico Madrid striker has scored just twice in his last 10 matches for Chelsea.
Mourinho has a few options to step in for his main man up top as Loic Remy seems the most likely replacement with Didier Drogba providing cover off the bench. Remy has stepped up in recent matches by scoring the winner in Chelsea’s last two games against Hull City and Stoke. Can the Frenchman step up to fill Costa’s void and seal the PL title for Chelsea?
