The Professional Football Association has announced the nominees for its Player’s Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.

Leicester dominates the list with three of the nominations as Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez are all included.

West Ham’s playmaker Dimitri Payet gets the nod in his debut season in the Premier League, while Harry Kane -- the winner of the PFA Young Player of the Year last season -- from Tottenham is also nominated, as is Arsenal’s assist machine Mesut Ozil.
Kane is also nominated for the Young Player of the Year award, while his Spurs teammate Dele Alli joins him. Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, Everton duo Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku and Stoke City’s Jack Butland round off the nominees for players under the age of 23.
