In perhaps the most meta radio interview of the summer, Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier said that he knew the Celtics would not trade him.
Speaking with Adam Kaufman of 98.5 FM in Boston, Rozier laughed off the idea that Celtics GM Danny Ainge would trade him. This comes after speculation that Rozier was the hold up in Boston acquiring several big name players, including Serge Ibaka.
This has been a favorite subject of Basketball Twitter recently, with Rozier suddenly becoming the butt of trade jokes because of Ainge’s apparent attachment to him.
But of course, now we know that Rozier at least feels some kind of confidence when it comes to trade season.
