They said it was going to be bananas, and now we believe them.
With the expansion draft for New York City FC and Orlando City SC coming up Wednesday, teams are scrambling to make sure they don’t lose too much without recompense. MLS teams can only protect 14 players for the draft.
The Kansas City Star’s Sam McDowell is reporting that Sporting KC will send away veteran defender and fashion guru Aurelien Collin, also parting ways with CJ Sapong. Coming KC’s way is Bernardo Anor.

The deals, according to McDowell:
- Collin to Orlando City SC for allocation money and future considerations.
- Anor from Columbus for allocation money.
- Sapong to Philadelphia for a 2015 first-round pick
Collin is a valuable add for OCSC after KC couldn’t afford to meet his contract demands, while Sapong was likely to be unprotected in the draft and would be an upgrade up top for the Union. Anor is an intriguing prospect for KC to take on.From the front office to the staff and all the way through all the smiling faces that make everythin worth it day in day out.. Thank You! 😘🙏
