Here we go with the single-game slate for the Brooklyn-Milwaukee Game 6 on Thursday. The Bucks are listed as six-point home favorites with a 220.5 over/under. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 ET.

In the sections below, we will run through the top overall plays, appealing bargains, and best strategy when assembling a single-game lineup for FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo.

NOTES

Kyrie Irving is OUT. No surprise here. Brooklyn’s usage will shift to Kevin Durant and James Harden, especially the former.

James Harden will play. Harden played 45 minutes in Game 5, but only produced 20 fantasy points. He didn’t have the same explosiveness that we’ve seen over the years, rarely making his way to the rim. It’s hard to believe that he’ll be 100% for tonight’s contest, so adjust your lineups with that in mind.

TOP PLAYS

Kevin Durant - SF - Brooklyn

Do we really need a write-up here? Durant scored 100.25 fantasy points last game! Irving is still out, and Harden is nowhere near 100% healthy, so expect Durant to keep seeing extreme usage for the Nets. Even if you expect a strong response from Giannis and Milwaukee on their home court, there’s still a good chance Durant emerges as the best fantasy player. It’s possible to build a strong lineup with him as Captain / MVP / Megastar, so that’s the recommended approach.

Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF - Milwaukee

Antetokounmpo out-produced Durant in Game 1 of this series, and that’s it. Even that was extremely narrow with Giannis hitting 54 FP compared to 52 from KD. I’m not saying it’s impossible for Giannis to be the highest fantasy scorer of the night, but Durant surely has the upper hand. Still, clicking Durant into your lineup followed immediately by Antetokounmpo is a reality on this slate, and these two superstars shouldn’t disappoint.

Khris Middleton - SF - Milwaukee

As mentioned earlier, Harden is clearly less than 100%, and I’m very skeptical that he’ll pay off his marked-up salary. Instead, let’s roll with Khris Middleton, who has stepped up with 46 FPPG over his last three. Middleton and Giannis could be prepared to play the entire game if necessary, as the Bucks are facing elimination. You can stack the three listed players in this section by shopping for bargains (with price sensitivity) below.

BARGAINS

Jeff Green - PF - Brooklyn

Green was on fire in Game 5, as he started 7-7 from three-point territory. He ended up with 27 points, one rebound, and 36 fantasy points overall. Sure, he’s scoring dependent, but holding a 30+ minute role while being fed open looks from Durant / Harden is a nice spot for him. I believe Green is somewhat overpriced on FanDuel and Yahoo, so I’m more inclined to use him at $4,800 on DraftKings.

Pat Connaughton - SG - Milwaukee

Connaughton is cheap across the board despite coming on strong in the last two games. Can he keep it going? I’m not sure, but he’s playing with confidence and enough minutes to deserve a look as a bargain filler on this single-game slate. Connaughton is averaging 26 minutes and 27 fantasy points over the last two games, which is significantly higher than most players in this salary range.

P.J. Tucker - PF - Milwaukee / Bryn Forbes - SG - Milwaukee

Consider either of these guys as value fillers to round out your lineup. Tucker is my preferred option of this pair, as he sees more minutes to make something happen. However, Forbes is significantly cheaper on FanDuel, so he’s worth a look over there. As for Yahoo and DraftKings, Tucker is as cheap as they come despite seeing 30+ minutes per game. Let’s just hope he can snag a handful of rebounds while making a couple of threes with a block and steal. That would be more than enough to post serviceable value.
