  • BAL Kicker #9
Justin Tucker made four of five field goals in the Ravens’ Week 3 win against the Lions, including a record-setting 66-yard field goal.
Tucker crushed the 66-yarder as time expired -- the ball bounced off the crossbar and fell through for the win. Tucker’s heroics saved the Ravens on a day that saw Marquise Brown drop three touchdowns and Baltimore struggle to get anything going on the ground against a middling Detroit front seven. Tucker has made all 16 of his field goal tries in the final minute of the game over his nine seasons in Baltimore. Tucker doesn’t have the fantasy upside he had with the Flacco-era Ravens, but he’s still an every-week play in 12-team formats.

  • CLE Wide Receiver #2
Amari Cooper is not in attendance during the second day of Browns minicamp.
Set to earn $23 million in the final year of his contract, Cooper appears to be holding out for a long-term deal with the Browns. He’s been superb during his two years with the team. Cooper had 72 receptions for 1,250 yards and five touchdowns last season and has gone for 1,100-plus yards in each of his first two seasons with the Browns. Cooper, soon to be 30, will likely work things out with the team before training camp.
  • NYG Tight End #82
Giants head coach Brian Daboll implied TE Daniel Bellinger is dealing with an undisclosed injury.
Daboll told reporters that “something happened a few weeks ago” to Bellinger and his participation in spring and summer practices has since been limited. It’s unclear if Bellinger sustained a serious injury, but it will be something to monitor in the coming weeks. Bellinger, who had 30 catches for 268 yards and two touchdowns over 11 games in 2022, profiles as the Giants’ clear No. 1 tight end after the retirement of Darren Waller. Rookie TE Theo Johnson would be next up if Bellinger misses time during the preseason or regular season.
  • BAL Running Back #22
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Derrick Henry will continue to have a big backfield workload in 2024.
Asked by reporters if Henry would see similar usage to what he saw in Tennessee, Harbaugh said, “We do. I mean, I watched the wear and tear that he put on defenses” during his time with the Titans and the team intends to use the Big Dog similarly in his first year with the Ravens. Even if Henry doesn’t see the gaudy rushing attempt totals he had as a Titan, he should be a more efficient ball carrier in a Baltimore offense that ranked as one of the NFL’s best in 2023. Rotoworld’s Denny Carter this week wrote about the drastic shift in Henry’s offensive environment from 2023 to 2024.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports Aaron Rodgers will miss all of Jets minicamp.
Russini said Rodgers — who last year decried off-the-field distractions for his Jets team — “prefers to be somewhere else” while his teammates prepare for a make-or-break 2024 season. Rodgers’ minicamp absence is unexcused, and head coach Robert Saleh seemed less than pleased with his quarterback’s decision during a Tuesday press conference. Rodgers attended the team’s OTAs this spring and appeared to be recovered from his 2023 Achilles tear. The football-watching public — and Jets players — patiently wait to hear exactly why Rodgers decided to ditch his teammates during Junes practices.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
Commanders WR Luke McCaffrey has taken handoffs during the team’s minicamp.
Christian McCaffrey’s younger brother — taken by Washington in the third round of the 2024 draft — saw some rushing involvement during his final two seasons at Rice, getting 27 carries for 265 yards and a touchdown. Commanders beat writers noted the team has been experimental with player usage during OTAs and minicamp, so McCaffrey seeing backfield work doesn’t mean he’s going to see such usage during the regular season. He’s working to solidify himself as the team’s primary slot receiver after totaling 129 catches over two years as a wideout in college.
  • Tight End #46
Saints are trying out TE Sal Cannella.
Cannella has been a standout tight end for the UFL’s Arlington Renegades. He totaled 496 yards and a league-leading six touchdowns over five games for the Renegades during the 2024 UFL regular season. Cannella was targeted on 21 percent of his routes, a strong rate for a tight end. The former Auburn product has had tryouts for other NFL teams, including the Packers. He likely wouldn’t see much playing time behind Juwan Johnson and Taysom Hill if he makes the New Orleans roster.
  • BUF Quarterback #17
Josh Allen said he made tweaks to his throwing motion to increase efficiency.
Allen made the changes after struggling with arm pain in 2023. He used digital mapping technology to analyze his throws from last year in order to be as “efficient as possible with my throwing motion.” “I wouldn’t call it a complete overhaul of my throwing motion, but definitely some things to work on and clean up,” Allen said. “Anytime you go through something like that, sometimes it’s gonna feel really good, sometimes it’s not gonna feel really good.” Allen’s 2023 adjusted completion rate (76.6 percent) was the second highest of his NFL career. Only Brock Purdy had a higher completion rate over expected than Allen last year.
  • GB Quarterback #10
ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reports Packers QB Jordan Love is optimistic on getting a contract extension done by training camp.
Demovsky reports that Love likes to be in the loop on developments, so there is reason to think progress has been made on an extension. Love was asked if he thinks contract talks will pick up after minicamp and he responded, “Yeah, I think they should.” Last week, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst told Milwaukee radio station 97.3 The Game that both parties wanted to get a deal done “before training camp for sure”. After leading the Packers to a divisional round game, Love is now poised to earn an extension that puts him amongst the highest-paid in the game. Without an extension, he would make $11 million in 2024, but seeing extensions like Jared Goff’s $53 million per year, Love is poised to reach those numbers soon.
  • SEA Nose Tackle #90
ESPN’s Brady Henderson reports the Seahawks ‘tweaked’ DT Jarran Reed’s contract.
Reed signed a two-year, $10.8 million contract with the Seahawks a last offseason. Henderson reports that the team essentially took $530k from incentives and made it part of the base value of the deal. The salary adjustments seem to give Reed a small contract sweetener and leave him with a deal that retains the same max value, all non-guaranteed. Reed started 16 games for the Seahawks at defensive tackle, totaling seven sacks last season. He now has $370k tied to sack incentives for next season while $530k was taken out and added to Reed’s base salary and in-game bonuses tied to being on the 53-man roster.
  • KC Tight End #87
The Athletic’s Nate Taylor reports Travis Kelce plans to play through two-year contract.
The veteran tight who will turn 35 this season, understands the questions about when he’ll hang up the cleats, but says he “really can’t put a timeframe” on it. Kelce also acknowledged the opportunities that he has outside of football, but still enjoys coming to work. While he’s shown slight signs of decline, his chemistry with Patrick Mahomes is unmatched and as long he’s playing, Kelce is a threat. He still has the competitive fire that’ll keep him amongst the top tight ends in football.
