Colorado State head coach Steve Fairchild finalized his 2010 coaching staff with the addition of a former Florida State assistant, the school has announced.
Todd Stroud was hired by Fairchild to head-up three different areas on his football team -- tight ends coach, recruiting coordinator and working with the fullbacks.
Stroud spent the past three seasons as the Seminoles’ head strength & conditioning coach.
“I’m excited for our team that we’re able to add a coach with so much experience in Todd,” Fairchild said in a statement. “He’s coached in the ACC and SEC. He’s been a head football coach and he played at Florida State under Bobby Bowden. He’s brings a tremendous amount of expertise and potential to help our program get to where we know it can be.”
Stroud has also spent time on staffs at North Carolina State, Memphis and Auburn, as well as being the head coach at Western Alabama in the mid-nineties.
