  • HOU Cornerback #17

Vikings declared CB Kris Boyd, CB Holton Hill, OG Dru Samia, RB Dalvin Cook, and WR K.J. Osborn as inactive for Week 6 against the Falcons.
Cook (groin) is expected to return following the Week 7 bye. The two cornerback injuries are poorly timed with Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones coming to town. The Vikings have been one of the worst passing defenses this season. That shouldn’t change this week.

  • SEA Tight End #87

Noah Fant (groin) did not participate in Thursday’s practice.
Fant is going the wrong way after missing Wednesday’s practice and now not getting in at all ahead of Week 9. The tight end still has a chance to play against the Rams, but if he can’t go — something that looks more likely by the day — it’ll be AJ Barner who gets the boost up.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #17
Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters that Puka Nacua left Thursday’s practice with a knee injury.
McVay said that Nacua will be listed as “limited” on the practice report. The 23-year-old wideout has been battling knee issues since the start of August, and had just return to action in Week 8 with a seven-catch, 106-yard performance on nine targets against the Vikings. A Rams official confirmed to Jordan Rodrigue of ESPN that it is the same knee that caused Nacua to miss time. It’s possible Nacua will need to undergo testing to determine the injury severity, but it’s something fantasy managers will want to pay close attention to ahead of the scheduled game in Week 9 against the Seahawks.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #16
Tyler Lockett (oblique) was a full participant for Thursday’s practice.
Lockett was listed as limited Wednesday, but gets the full designation a day later. The 32-year-old should be ready to roll for Week 9 against the Rams, but hey may see more attention with DK Metcalf (knee) on the wrong side of questionable at this point for that contest.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14
DK Metcalf (knee) did not practice Thursday.
The Seahawks remain hopeful that Metcalf can play in Week 9 after missing Week 8’s loss to the Bills, but back-to-back missed practices likely limits that optimism at least slightly. If he gets in at least a limited session Friday he has a chance, but fantasy managers should be preparing to be without Metcalf against the Rams on Sunday.
  • NYJ Linebacker #57
Jets declared LB CJ Mosley (neck), G Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle), S Ashtyn Davis (Concussion), S Tony Adams (Hamstring), CB Qwan’tez Stiggers, RB Israel Abanikanda and T Carter Warren inactive for Week 9 against the Texans.
The Jets are dealing with a plethora of injury issues, and also placed Allen Lazard and Leki Fotu on injured reserve earlier Thursday. With Mosley out, Chazz Surratt should see the bulk of snaps at his linebacker position with Surratt playing through a heel injury.
  • HOU Running Back #31
Texans declared RB Dameon Pierce, LB Azeez Al-Shaair, S Jimmie Ward, CB Myles Bryant and C/G Jarrett Patterson inactive for Week 9 against the Jets.
Pierce was ruled out earlier in the week because of his groin injury. The Texans will also be missing Ward due to a groin issue, Patterson with a concussion and Al-Shaair out due to a shoulder injury.
  • LV Running Back #3
Zamir White (quad) didn’t practice Thursday.
White was a limited participant during Wednesday’s session, and the 6-foot, 215-pound tailback was unable to go Thursday. This could be load management, but it’s not being listed as such. White’s absence would set up potentially more touches for Ameer Abdullah or Dylan Laube.
  • LAC Linebacker #97
Joey Bosa (hip) was listed as a “limited” participant for Thursday’s practice.
Bosa was able to return in Week 8 against the Saints and played 20-of-73 snaps. The 2016 second-round pick should play against in Week 9 against Cleveland, but may not get a full snap count again.
  • LAC Tight End #88
Hayden Hurst (groin) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
Hurst looks like he’ll be able to play in Week 9 against the Browns after missing the previous two weeks with his groin issue. Will Dissly (shoulder) may miss Sunday’s tilt against Cleveland, so assuming Hurst does go, he’s worth a look as a streamer for that contest.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
Jerry Jeudy was listed as a “limited” participant for Thursday’s practice.
Jeudy was a full participant during Wednesday’s practice, so it’s possible the injury occurred during that session or Thursday’s. Either way, it’s something to keep an eye on. Jeudy caught five passes on eight targets for a season-high 79 yards, and will see a good amount of balls thrown his way if he can go Week 9 against the Chargers. Friday will be one to keep an eye on.
