Rotoworld

  • SF Running Back #32
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
49ers declared QB Brandon Allen, OG Spencer Burford, TE Brayden Willis, DL Kalia Davis, LB Jalen Graham, RB Tyrion Davis-Price, OL Ben Bartch inactive for Week 12 against the Seahawks.
Burford is the major inactive here as a starter on the 49ers’ offensive line. However, OG Aaron Banks returns for the offense this week while the other inactives are not a surprise.
  • Wide Receiver #19
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Beat reporter John Hendrix reports that free agent WR Donovan Peoples-Jones is among the 16 players that the Saints will host for their rookie minicamp.
Peoples-Jones last played regular season snaps with the Lions back in 2023, when he caught 13-of-24 targets for 155 yards. He is highly unlikely to return to fantasy relevance at this point but could perhaps sign on as a special teams contributor.
Jaguars reportedly 'not so high' on RB Etienne Jr.
Denny Carter unpacks the reports of the new Jacksonville Jaguars regime being "not so high" on running back Travis Etienne Jr., highlighting why his poor performances in 2024 could be the reason.
  • TEN Wide Receiver
Titans signed fourth-round pick WR Elic Ayomanor to a four-year contract.
Ayomanor will now begin learning behind Calvin Ridley. Although Ayomanor is unlikely to find a meaningful role in year one, dynasty managers should note his status as training camp gets underway this summer. The former Stanford receiver flashed big-play ability in his two college seasons.
  • TB Wide Receiver #15
Buccaneers signed seventh-round pick WR Tez Johnson to a four-year contract.
Johnson will serve as a rotational deep-threat option for Baker Mayfield. His thin frame (5'10/154) simply does not lend itself to the repeated hits one incurs in a full-time role. Johnson did earn 100-plus targets in his two seasons at Oregon, though. His big-play style make him a better fit in best ball for now, pending any major on-field breakthroughs.
  • FA Defensive Tackle #91
    Giants waived DT Casey Rogers.
Rogers was a 2024 undrafted free agent and logged 33 defensive snaps for the Giants in his rookie season. He is credited with zero tackles and/or sacks. He may find his way onto another roster as a practice squad option.
  • MIN Wide Receiver
Vikings signed third-round pick WR Tai Felton to a four-year contract.
Felton is quietly in play to challenge Vikings No. 3 WR Jalen Nailor in training camp. Nailor (5'11/190) caught 28-of-42 targets for 414 yards and six touchdowns in his first season as a starter last year, with the latter category buoying his fantasy productivity. Felton (6'1/183), meanwhile, caught 96-of-143 targets for 1,119 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 2.32 yards per route run in his final college season. Fantasy managers should monitor Felton’s training camp reports this summer, as he could have a matchup-based WR5 role if everything falls into place.
  • JAX Wide Receiver
NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reports that Travis Hunter will “primarily” practice with the offense during the Jaguars’ rookie minicamp, though his defensive participation is currently unknown.
Wolfe’s report at least confirms GM James Gladstone’s late-April comments on the matter. The Jaguars view Hunter as a wide receiver first and a cornerback second. In celebrating Hunter’s recent graduation from Colorado, Wolfe did frustratingly mix metaphors, saying, Hunter is “going to major on offense, at wide receiver first,” and that the Jaguars “hope that he can eventually double major” in both wide receiver and cornerback. Hunter’s participation on defense is something that even the Jaguars don’t seem to feel like they’ve firmed up yet. We expect Hunter to be a fantasy factor as a receiver in year one, as the steady drumbeat has been that he’ll be a receiver first.
  • CIN Running Back #28
Bengals signed sixth-round pick RB Tahj Brooks to a four-year contract.
Brooks now embarks on his quest to unseat No. 2 rusher Zack Moss, who agreed to a restructured contract in April after his 2024 season was derailed by a Week 8 neck injury. Passing-down specialist Samaje Perine will remain a factor in his siloed role. Brooks is a name to know for dynasty and spring best ball drafts. Redraft relevancy in 2025 is probably a little unlikely.
  • LV Running Back
Raiders signed No. 6 overall pick RB Ashton Jeanty to a four-year contract.
Per NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, Jeanty’s deal is fully guaranteed and worth more than $35.89 million. It comes with a $22.7 million signing bonus. Jeanty could compete for the league lead in touches as a rookie, putting him squarely in the RB1 ranks. The Raiders also signed third-round OG Caleb Rogers, sixth-round QB Cam Miller and seventh-round LB Cody Lindenberg.
  • CAR Wide Receiver
Panthers signed No. 8 overall pick WR Tetairoa McMillan to a four-year contract.
The Panthers officially bring their X-wide receiver into the fold. McMillan should immediately compete for the team lead in targets and should produce fantasy-friendly results in year one. The Panthers also signed third-round OLB Princely Umanmielen, fourth-round S Lathan Ransom, fifth-round DT Cam Jackson, fifth-round TE Mitchell Evans and sixth-round WR Jimmy Horn Jr.. Dynasty managers should take note of Horn, who could eventually work his way into three-wide receiver sets.
  • Jets signed No. 7 overall pick OT Armand Membou to a four-year contract.
ESPN’s Rich Cimini reports Membou’s deal is worth roughly $31.9 million. The Jets now boast a top-flight offensive line, keyed by its offensive tackle tandem with OT Olu Fashanu on the left and Membou on the right. The unit should provide Justin Fields with comfortable pockets in 2025. The Jets also signed third-round CB Azareye’h Thomas and fourth-round S Malachi Moore to four-year contracts.
