Pirates acquired minor league infielder Deybis Benitez from the Mariners for RHP Mike Koplove.
Benitez, still at Single-A as a 22-year-old, has hit .304 (7-for-23) in limited action this season. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that he has been assigned to Single-A West Virginia.
