Padres acquired OF Rodrigo Orozco from the Blue Jays for OF Sócrates Brito.
Orozco, who turns 24 on Tuesday, batted .304/.375/.389 with one homer and 18 steals over 112 games in High-A last season. He’ll provide some outfield depth in the Padres’ minor league system.
