RIDGEDALE, Missouri: Cole Davies grabbed the holeshot in Moto 2 of the SuperMotocross Playoff finale at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena to sweep the motos and scored the overall victory, but Levi Kitchen did what he needed and won the SMX title with moto results of 2-2.
Kitchen has struggled with his starts in 2026 for most of the season. When he needed it the most, the Team Green rider got out of the gate fast with a holeshot in the first races and a second-place start in Moto 2.
Landen Gordon also has solid starts in both motos. He capitalized in the second race to finish third. With moto results of sixth and third, he was scored third overall.
Nate Thrasher showed speed in the first race but faded late in that race. He passed Cameron McAdoo late in the race to finish fourth. Thrasher was fourth overall after finishing seventh in Moto 1 and fourth in Moto 2.
Pierce Brown finished fifth and seventh in the two motos for fifth overall.
Cameron McAdoo overcame a 13th-place finish in the first moto to round out the top five.
The biggest disappointment in Moto 2 went to Ryder DiFrancesco. He had a modest start in the first moto, but overcame it to finish third and give himself a chance for the title. His start in Moto 2 was horrible.
DiFrancesco was as far back as 19th in the opening laps. He moved forward during the race, but could not rise above 10th. DiFrancesco was scored sixth overall with results of third and 10th.
