Dylan Ferrandis will make the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship finale this week in Ridgedale, Missouri, the final race of his nine-year SMX career after scoring the 2020 250 and 2021 450 Pro Motocross Championships.
“This weekend’s race will be my last race as a professional racer, and I will retire from the sport,” Dylan Ferrandis said in a news release. “I have been riding dirt bikes since three years old all around the world and this life has been exactly what I wanted. It’s been a great year with the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Team and we will try to finish the season on a high note and enjoy these last few moments of racing.”
With teammate Justin Barcia sidelined for nearly the entire Supercross season, Ferrandis shouldered the responsibility for introducing Ducati to the American racing scene.
“I have had the privilege of working with Dylan since 2024,” said Josh Wisenor, Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Team Manager. “Throughout that time, he has been one of the hardest-working riders I have ever been around. His work ethic is next level and truly unmatched.”
Ferrandis gave Ducati its first top-10 on debut in Round 1 of the Monster Energy Supercross season this January in Anaheim, California. He amassed 11 top-10s during the stadium season through Round 2 of the SMX Playoffs.
Ferrandis gave Ducati its first top-five in Round 2 of the Motocross season in the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Rancho Cordova, California.
Across the season, Ferrandis recorded 20 top-10 overall finishes, including a sixth in the SMX Playoff muddy opener in Columbus, Ohio, two weeks ago.
During his career, Ferrandis scored six Supercross victories in the 250 class and nine in Motocross. He added six Motocross overall wins on the 450.
