According to Law Murray of The Athletic, the Clippers have acquired the rights to 2022 second-round pick Ismael Kamagate from the Nuggets in exchange for cash.
Kamagate has yet to come over from Europe, currently playing for Bertram Derthona Tortona in France’s LNB Pro A League. Obviously, this move will not impact fantasy basketball this season, and it’s unknown when he’ll come over to the NBA.

According to DNVR’s Harrison Wind, Ismael Kamagate will remain in Europe for the 2023-24 season.
Selected with the 46th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Kamagate was picked by the Nuggets with the idea that he would remain overseas this season. And according to Friday’s report, he’ll be spending another season overseas. The 6-foot-11 center appeared in 34 league games for Paris this season, averaging 9.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 22.1 minutes, shooting 74.3% from the field. While the Nuggets do like Kamagate, he is reportedly not in the team’s plans for next season.

The Nuggets selected Ismael Kamate with the No. 46 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and he will be stashed overseas.
Kamagate is a 6'11" big man who most recently played in Paris for the LNB Pro A League. He has shot-blocking upside and promising long-term potential defensively, but the rest of his game is a question mark. The hope in Denver is that with another season in Europe, Kamagate will reach a point where the Nuggets front office has to consider the possibility of bringing him over.
