With the 49ers playing on Sunday night, Kittle being a game-time decision would create quite a conundrum for fantasy managers. Backup tight end Jake Tonges would make for a nice streaming option if Kittle were to be sidelined, but Tonges will be hard to trust if we have to wait up until inactive are announced to decided whether or not he can be played. Kittle has yet to practice this week but we have seen him play without practicing before. Fantasy managers will need to keep their options open and continue to monitor this situation throughout the weekend the longer Kittle’s status remains up in the air.

The soreness in Allen’s foot “has dissipated throughout the week,” according to McDermott. Allen has been dealing with a foot injury he suffered in Week 16’s win over the Browns, but this doesn’t seem like anything too serious. Allen did not miss a play after going down last week and has been limited throughout practice this week. The Bills have struggled to move the ball through the air as of late, but McDermott said on Friday he doesn’t expect Allen’s injury to slow him down this weekend. He will be in the QB1 mix despite a tough matchup.

Horrendous, down-bad play from Goff, and he was the best quarterback on the field. Max Brosmer was able to avoid the mistakes because the Vikings refused to allow them to happen, and Goff’s five turnovers were too much for Detroit to overcome. With the loss, Detroit is now eliminated from playoff contention. Goff will have a chance to compile some stats in a meaningless game against the Bears in Week 18. Fantasy managers who rostered Goff for this one are going to have to play catch up.

Both Love and Malik Willis (shoulder/illness) are listed as questionable for the Saturday night showdown against Baltimore. Signs seem to be pointing for Love to be the starter for that contest after being a limited participant estimate Thursday, but he’ll need to clear the protocol before that can happen. There should be more clarification on this situation Friday, and fantasy managers who “need” to use either should be prepared for alternate paths.

Jackson was listed as a non-participant for Thursday’s practice before getting the doubtful designation. The 28-year-old almost assuredly will be out for Saturday’s game against the Packers, meaning Tyler Huntley will get the start in that contest. Whether Jackson plays in Week 18 against the Steelers will depend on how the signal-caller heels, and also if that game has any meaning.

Kittle has has now not participated in back-to-back practices ahead of the 49ers’ critical Week 17 game against the Bears. The tight end still has a chance to play, but Friday’s practice will be critical. Fantasy managers should be prepared for an alternative.

Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott were disconnected throughout, with the bulk of his receptions going for short yardage. His game-high was only a 24-yard catch, while positive game script against the Commanders allowed Dallas to ride the ground game in the second half. It was a disappointing end to an up-and-down, injury-impacted season for the veteran alpha receiver, who could fall to the tail end of the first round in coming fantasy drafts this offseason.

Ferguson departed in the third quarter with a calf injury and was promptly ruled out for the remainder of the contest. It will be Brevin Spann-Ford operating as the primary tight end for the Cowboys for the final frame. Ferguson caught 1-of-2 targets for a six-yard touchdown prior to departing.

Montgomery was added to the injury report early Thursday morning with an illness but is apparently well enough to play against the Vikings. There is the potential for Jahmyr Gibbs to see a slight uptick in snaps and usage considering the illness. St. Brown saw his practice involvement monitored on the short week but is also active. Inactive for the Lions are OL Trystan Colon, OL Taylor Decker, DL Tyler Lacy, WR Dominic Lovett, S Avonte Maddox, OL Michael Niese, and DL Mekhi Wingo.

Williams departed in the second quarter and was seen grabbing at his shoulder. He was deemed questionable to return by the Cowboys before the half. Malik Davis would be in line to serve as the primary back in a solid matchup should Williams fail to return. Williams gained 54 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries prior to departing.
