Guillen did not appear in a professional game in 2020, but he flourished in 2019 with the Double-A affiliate of the Rockies, registering a 1.53 ERA, 0.926 WHIP, and 91/21 K/BB ratio across 76 2/3 innings of relief. The 24-year-old right-hander could get a shot out of the Marlins’ bullpen at some point next season.

The 24-year-old had a major breakthrough season in 2019, posting a stellar 1.53 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 91/21 K/BB ratio over 76 2/3 innings at Double-A Hartford. He then followed that up with a 0.90 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 13/1 K/BB ratio in 10 innings during the Arizona Fall League. He should get a chance to pitch out of the Rockies’ bullpen at some point during the 2020 season.
