Race 2 of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit saw Ryan Hunter-Reay charge to the win after teammate Alexander Rossi locked up the brakes and went into the Turn 7 runoff area with less than 10 laps remaining.
The Chevrolet Sports Car Classic saw Felipe Nasr hold off a hard-charging Ricky Taylor in the final minutes to take the Prototype win, while Mario Farnbacher and Katherine Legge led a Meyer Shank Racing 1-2 in GTD.
Ed Carpenter looked poised to take an Indy 500 win during the first half of the race, but track position and pit strategy saw him come up one position short.
