Favorites were 9-7 ATS yesterday in NCAA Tournament action. The big money line upsets were 15-seed Oral Roberts knocking off 2-seed Ohio State, 12-seed Oregon State downing 5-seed Tennessee and 13-seed North Texas stunning 4-seed Purdue. If you were on the Liberty Flames at +7.5 vs. Oklahoma State, my condolences on your bad beat. Don’t worry; I’m not bragging, I was right there with you.

Totals finished 9-7 to the under on day one of the tournament.

The VCU Rams finished the season 19-7 SU and 12-11-1 ATS; they were 2nd in the Atlantic 10 Conference, losing to St. Bonaventure in the A10 Tournament final. The Rams did not play that tough of a schedule this season. Their only game vs. a ranked opponent was a 12-point loss to West Virginia. The Rams’ best player is sophomore guard Nah’Shon Hyland; he averages 19 points per game and shoots 43% from three.

The Oregon Ducks finished the season 20-6 SU and 14-10-1 ATS. Oregon was the best team in the Pac-10 during the regular season, but they lost in the Pac-10 tournament to eventual champion Oregon State. The Ducks did win 11 of their final 14 games to close the season. The Ducks have the ability to get hot from three. They shot 37% from deep on the season, making them the 24th best three-point shooting team in the nation.[[ad:athena]]
