Browns tendered exclusive rights free agent WR Malachi Corley.

Cleveland scooped Corley off waivers after the Jets cut him at the end of training camp last year. A true gadget player, Corley earned more carries than catches, rushing 13 times compared to 11 grabs. He totaled 206 yards from scrimmage and returned kicks for Cleveland. The Browns also tendered WR Jamari Thrash and TE Brenden Bates.

Kentucky redshirt sophomore TE Brendan Bates is expected to miss a few weeks due to an undisclosed injury.

Bates (6'4/248) is making strides according to HC Mark Stoops, but the redshirt sophomore is likely to miss additional time as he works his way back to full strength. Bates, who has appeared in each of Kentucky’s first three games, caught one pass for 14 yards in Saturday’s 24-2 win over Mississippi State. Senior Justin Rigg remains the Wildcats’ starter at tight end.
