C.J. Prosise (questionable, hand) is a game-time decision for Week 2.
Prosise practiced all week with a cast on his hand. He’ll be limited to special teams if active.

    Bucs released RB C.J. Prosise.
Prosise signed to the practice squad in early January but never appeared in a game. The Bucs added WR Cyril Grayson to replace Prosise.

  • FA Running Back #30
Free agent C.J. Prosise visited the Bucs.
Prosise was waived by the Texans earlier this week. The Bucs have been dealing with injuries to their backfield with Ronald Jones (finger) and Leonard Fournette (core) at less than 100 percent. 26-year-old Prosise would add depth if signed.

    Texans waived RB C.J. Prosise.
It’s already the second time the Texans have waived Prosise this year. He’ll likely clear waivers and revert to the team’s practice squad. David Johnson, who handled 100% of the team’s backfield carries and targets sans Duke Johnson Sunday, is expected to close the year as an every-down back against the Titans.

Texans RB C.J. Prosise (illness) has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Colts.
It’s a non-COVID illness. Prosise had six touches and played 18% of snaps in a change-up role last week. The Texans are expected to activate David Johnson (concussion, IR) ahead of Sunday’s game.

    Texans released RB C.J. Prosise.
Prosise was promoted as depth whenever Duke Johnson was injured but only handled a single touch despite being active for six games. Perhaps he reunites with the Seahawks following Chris Carson’s (foot) multi-week injury.

Texans signed RB C.J. Prosise to the practice squad.
The pass catcher will provide distant taxi squad depth behind pass-catcher extraordinaire backs David Johnson and Duke Johnson.

Free agent RB C.J. Prosise worked out for the Lions on Thursday.
The Lions also worked out Troymaine Pope and Jonathan Williams. The Lions have one of the league’s most crowded backfields, though the No. 3 spot is unsettled behind DeAndre Swift and Kerryon Johnson. It is the first we’ve heard of pass-catcher Prosise since his 2019 for the Seahawks was ended by a broken arm in December. Although he is still only 26 years old, Prosise’s Dynasty league moment has obviously come and gone.

Coach Pete Carroll said RB C.J. Prosise (arm) is out for the season.
Prosise suffered an arm injury in the second quarter of the Seahawks’ Week 16 loss to the Cardinals. Chris Carson (hip) is also done for the year. This means Travis Homer will likely work as the offense’s featured back in their season-defining matchup against the 49ers. Prosise posted 19-58-1 rushing and 10-76-0 receiving lines in his fourth professional season.
  • FA Running Back #30
Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise (arm) has been ruled out in Week 16 against the Cardinals.
Prosise suffered an arm injury in the second quarter and won’t return. Chris Carson (hip) is questionable to return. Travis Homer will work as the offense’s lead back while both remain sidelined.
