The Jets also brought aboard EDGE Anthony Dunn and S Tanner Wall. The Jets correspondingly waived WR Caullin Lacy, RB Sam Scott and EDGE Nate Voorhis with injury designations. Oklahoma State freshman RB Dominic Richardson rushed 13 times for 131 yards and two touchdowns in a 63-17 blowout of TCU.

Richardson (6'0/205) has not seen a lot of work outside of blowouts, with his 131 yards almost equaling his season total of 158 rushing yards heading into the contest. His two touchdowns actually doubled his season total, as the freshman tailback is making his case to be the starter next year after senior RB Jaylen Warren departs. He looked great against the TCU second team, averaging 10.3 yards per carry and breaking an explosive 28 yard touchdown run. It will be interesting to see how things shake out in the spring, but for now Richardson is just there to support Warren when OSU takes on Texas Tech next weekend.

Oklahoma State freshman RB Dominic Richardson turned 23 carries into 169 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday in a 42-3 crushing of Baylor.

With Chuba Hubbard announcing that he was going to sit out the rest of the season, Richardson (6'0/205) was called on to be the bellcow, and more than exceeded expectations. He scampered in from 17 yards out near the end of the second quarter, and then found paydirt from short yardage two times in the second half. A three-star recruit who had previously been committed to TCU, Richardson looked the part on Saturday, and with Hubbard likely off to the NFL, it seems very possible Richardson is a big part of the OSU offense in 2021. He likely gets one more game in an undetermined bowl contest later this month.

TCU received a commitment from three-star 2020 RB Dominic Richardson.

The Horned Frogs had a huge Monday as they received four commitments from potential starters. In Richardson, they are getting a “wrecking ball” who will likely fill out his frame in the TCU weight room. The three other 2020 commits are WR Caleb Medford, QB Eli Williams, and DE James Sylvester.
