Penn State received a verbal commitment from four-star 2020 DL Coziah Izzard.
Izzard (6'2/271) chose Penn State over Maryland, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, and Alabama among others. He ran a 4.99-second 40-yard dash at The Opening Regional combine in May of this year, a very impressive number for a player his size. Izzard is the 21st-ranked defensive tackle in the class of 2020 and 11th ranked overall player from the state of Maryland. Penn State now has 12 commitments in the 2020 recruiting class and ranks 2nd in the Big 10.
