Erick Fedde shut out the Twins for five innings to finally pick up his first win of the year Wednesday.
Fedde needed this after posting a 9.00 ERA and a 12/12 K/BB over 20 innings in his five starts last month. Although he’s now 1-5 on the season, the White Sox have actually managed to go 6-6 in his outings, including three victories in extra innings. Fedde is due to face the Braves next week.

Erick Fedde pitched decently in a no-decision against the Tigers on Friday night, allowing two runs on four hits over his four innings of work.
Fedde issued three free passes on the night while striking out three. He worked as a bulk reliever behind Brandon Eisert who got the first four outs in the ballgame. All the damage done against him came on a two-run blast by Dillon Dingler in the third inning. Fedde got six whiffs on 84 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 29 percent. Still 0-5 on the season, he’ll carry a 5.40 ERA and 1.48 WHIP into Wednesday’s battle against the Twins in Minneapolis.

Erick Fedde will pitch behind an opener on Friday against the Tigers.
Brandon Eisert will get the ball to kick off the contest before Fedde makes a bulk relief appearance. The 33-year-old veteran was roughed up for eight runs over 3 1/3 innings his previous time out against the Giants last week. He’s not a recommended fantasy option.

Erick Fedde allowed eight runs with three strikeouts over 3 1/3 innings in a loss against the Giants on Saturday.
Bryan Hudson had recorded the first four outs as the opener for the White Sox. Fedde followed by finishing out the second inning, then recorded a scoreless third before the Giants brought three runs in on five hits in the fourth. Casey Schmitt then got to Fedde for a two-run homer in the fifth. Fedde would leave with one out and the bases loaded at 85 pitches. Jordan Leasure took over and allowed all runners to score on a grand slam. Fedde ends his day with a 5.47 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and a 31/20 K/BB ratio across 49 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Twins in Chicago on Thursday.

Erick Fedde received a no-decision on Sunday against the Cubs, allowing four earned on six hits over three innings.
Fedde struck out two and walked four in the outing, raising his ERA to 4.30 on the year. The right-hander gave up a two-run homer to Michael Busch in the first, part of a three-run inning to kick things off. Fedde will continue to eat innings for this rotation when he faces the Giants in San Francisco next time out.

Erick Fedde worked five innings and allowed two runs Tuesday against the Royals.
Fedde left with a 5-2 lead that was blown right away by Tyler Schweitzer and Grant Taylor in the sixth. As a result, Fedde remains 0-4 in spite of a solid 3.66 ERA. He’s still a weak bet for fantasy purposes with his 26 strikeouts and 10 homers allowed in 43 innings. Bobby Witt Jr. and Salvador Perez took him deep tonight. He’ll make his next start Sunday against the Cubs.

Erick Fedde allowed four runs and struck out two batters over 4 2/3 innings in a loss against the Angels on Tuesday.
Fedde gave up a pair of solo homers in the first inning to Mike Trout and Jorge Soler. Things got away from him with two outs in the fifth as he surrendered two more runs on a home run, a walk, and a double. Fedde’s day would be done before he could complete the fifth. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 3.79 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and a 24/13 K/BB ratio across 38 innings into a start against the Royals in Chicago next Tuesday.

Erick Fedde allowed two runs on five hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Wednesday
Fedde struck out six and didn’t walk a batter while throwing 63 percent of his pitches for strikes. Despite striking out six, Fedde had just eight whiffs and an eight percent swinging strike rate on the day, almost all of which came on his sweeper. Fedde got plenty of called strikes with his sinker, which put him in advantageous counts, but this was not as dominant a performance as the statline might suggest. Fedde will get a rematch with these Angels in Los Angeles next week.

Erick Fedde allowed three hits and one run with four walks and one strikeout across 5 2/3 innings working behind an opener in a no-decision against the Nationals on Friday.
In a revenge game against his former team, Fedde pitched well over his first few innings before completely losing the strike zone in the fifth inning. He walked three batters in that frame, the last of which forced in a run. Yet, most of the rest of his outing was relatively clean. He just didn’t force many swings-and-misses and doesn’t profile as a particularly intriguing option ahead of his next appearance against the Angels.

Erick Fedde allowed three runs with three strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Athletics on Saturday.
After a clean first inning, Fedde gave up a solo homer to Jacob Wilson in the second. The A’s brought a run in to score in the third on a sacrifice fly. Fedde tossed a scoreless fourth, then walked the leadoff man in the fifth. He recorded the first two outs in the frame before departing at 75 pitches. The inherited runner would eventually come in to score. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 3.92 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and a 15/7 K/BB ratio into a start against the Nationals in Chicago on Friday.
