FanDuel
Bud Cauley (9,400): Finished T7 at this event two years ago and he’s trending well again with top 35s in each of his last four starts.
Harold Varner III (9,500): Loves the layout in Napa with a pair of top 15s over his last three trips.
Marc Leishman (10,500): He’s not at the stage of his career where he needs to fight through injuries if they are serious. That’s why I’m optimistic he can bounce back this week.
Abraham Ancer (9,900): Got his season started with a top 5 last year so I’m not worried about the time off since East Lake.
Lucas Glover (10,200): Should be really low owned after flopping for us last week on a course he historically crushed. His history isn’t as strong here but it’s not too shabby, either, with back-to-back top 30s and a T17 four years ago.
Chez Reavie (10,400): The straight shooter from Arizona loves it out West. He’s finished T33 or better in each of his last four visits to Napa.
DraftKings
Justin Thomas (11,600) - He’s feasted on the North Course at Silverado Resort with red numbers in 8-of-10 rounds played. That includes a T8 in 2016 and T3 the year before.
Wyndham Clark (7,200) - The California native finished T33 last year in his tourney debut and brings a lot more confidence to the table this time around.
Adam Long (6,900) - He already won in California and he’s opened the new season with back-to-back top 25s.
Fabian Gomez (7,000) - Could he be inspried but all the Latin American talent winning this season? It’s possible but what really draws us to him is the price. He’s also carded top 20s in three of his last five starts, dating back to the end of last season.
Beau Hossler (6,800) - He gained strokes on approach at the Greenbrier which is great news for this elite talent that had a major ball-striking slump last season. He’s from California so he should be comfortable in this climate and comfortable on poa annua greens.
Hideki Matsuyama (10,500) - All that value has opened up a spot to jam in Matsuyama who has finished T3, T3, T17 at this event with the last two results coming at Silverado Resort.
Yahoo DFS
Kevin Tway (34): The defending champ slumped over the summer but ended his season with back-to-back top 25s.
Kevin Streelman (33): Posted a top 5 last week at the Sanderson Farms and also has back-to-back top 25s here in Napa.
Harry Higgs (31): Has gained strokes ball-striking (off-the-tee plus approach) in all six rounds this season.
Robby Shelton (32): Brings elite pedigree to the table and he’s hit more fairways and greens than the field in each of the last two events to start the season.
Ryan Moore (36): Some of the best course history in the field with finishes of T17 or better in all three visits. Makes sense that the Washington native and Vegas resident would like it out West.
Harold Varner III (34): Has top 20s in two of his last three starts and top 15s in two of his last three trips to Napa.
