Aussies go at unspoken thing at Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Geoff Ogilvy’s fast start gives hope Down Under that an Australian may finally break through and win the nation its first Masters’ title.

With his 69, Ogilvy enters the second round tied for seventh and Jason Day (72) and Adam Scott (72) tied for 32nd as the best positioned Aussies to win. There are six Australians in the field.

While the fellows from Down Under get asked a lot about breaking through to win at Augusta National, they don’t speak much about it to each other.

“It’s an unspoken thing, that we all want to be the first to win the Masters,” Aaron Baddeley said.
