    Jets released WR Josh Doctson.
New York also released CB Kyron Brown, TE Connor Davis, OL Leo Kolamatangi, K Chase McLaughlin, and WR Jaleel Scott. McLaughlin has bounced around as a spot starter and will likely catch on with another team this summer. Docston, the 22nd overall pick by Washington in the 2016 NFL Draft, opted out of the 2020 season. He’s now three years removed from his best pro season -- a 44-catch campaign in 2018. Doctson, 28, should be able to land on a practice squad in 2021.

Ravens placed WR Jaleel Scott on injured reserve with a severe hamstring injury.
Baltimore signed DB Robertson Daniel in a corresponding move. A fourth-round pick this year, Scott was having a quiet training camp and was by no means a lock to make the final roster. Now he will spend his rookie season on injured reserve. This move helps Breshad Perriman’s roster chances.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Ravens selected New Mexico State WR Jaleel Scott with the No. 132 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
Scott (6’5/218) spent two years with the NMSU Aggies after transferring from JUCO, exploding as a senior for a 76/1,079/14.2/9 receiving line to earn first-team All-Sun Belt. PFF College credited Scott with 19 receptions on throws delivered 20-plus yards downfield, most in all of Division I to account for exactly 50.1% of Scott’s senior-year yardage. Scott was exposed as a mediocre athlete in Indy with a 4.56 forty and sluggish 7.20 three-cone time. A long, lanky contested-catch winner with average play speed, Scott will have to make his living on jump balls in the pros.
