Raiders signed RB Louis Rankin, P Glenn Pakulak, LB/S Quentin Scott, Gs Roy Schuening and Alex Parsons, WRs Shaun Bodiford and Damola Adeniji, TE Kevin Brock, DE Tommie Hill, CB Joe Porter, and FB Manase Tonga to futures contracts.
11 is the largest futures haul of any team to date. Rankin has some potential as a kick returner. Porter runs an exceptional fort-yard dash time (go figure). The Raiders appear to be converting Scott from safety to linebacker.
  • FA Tight End
Cowboys TE Kevin Brock left Sunday’s preseason opener in the second quarter with a high left ankle sprain.
This game’s had way too many injuries for our taste, let alone the Cowboys’ or Bengals’. Brock was in the midst of a solid training camp, competing for the No. 4 tight end job. He’s in danger of missing 4-6 weeks.
  • FA Tight End
Bills promoted TE Kevin Brock from their practice squad.
Brock will take injured rookie TE Lee Smith’s place on the 53-man roster. A former Raider and Bear, Brock has never appeared in a regular season game.
  • FA Tight End
    Chiefs signed TE Kevin Brock.
Brock has been bouncing around the league for the past four seasons, but he’s appeared in just two career games, both with Buffalo in 2011. He has two catches for 27 yards. The 6-foot-5, 249-pound Rutgers product will be aiming for a special teams job.
  • FA Tight End
    Bears waived TE Kevin Brock.
Brock, 24, spent part of last season on Chicago’s practice squad. The Bears decided to keep Kellen Davis and Mike Tice favorite Richard Angulo instead.
  • FA Tight End
Cowboys signed TE Kevin Brock, formerly of the Bears.
Dallas is deep at tight end, so it’s not a good landing spot if Brock had designs on making a final roster. He’s probably only a practice body for camp.
  • FA Tight End
    Chiefs signed TE Kevin Brock.
Brock spent the spring and summer with Kansas City before being a part of final cuts. He hasn’t appeared in a regular season game since 2011 with the Bills.
  • FA Tight End
Free agent TE Kevin Brock worked out for the Bucs on Tuesday.
Brock was waived by the Chiefs on Sunday and had three catches for 31 yards in the preseason. The Bucs lack quality tight end depth, but Brock is unlikely to be signed to the 53-man roster. He has practice squad eligibility and can contribute on special teams.
  • FA Tight End
    Bengals signed TE Kevin Brock.
A fifth-year undrafted free agent, Brock has made six career appearances, including four for the Chiefs this season. He’s just an extra body in case Tyler Eifert (shoulder) is unavailable for the Wild Card round.
  • FA Tight End
Saints signed TE Kevin Brock, formerly of the Bengals.
29-year-old Brock is a blocking tight end with some special teams value. He was apparently the Saints’ fallback option after whiffing on Jermaine Gresham.
