Giants GM Joe Schoen said Malik Nabers (knee) is trending to “hopefully” be ready for the start of training camp.
He added, “things can change.” Lot of caveats in this bit of hope, it sounds like. Nabers told reporters after the season that he was unsure about his return date. It wouldn’t be surprising if Nabers’ ACL and meniscus repairs keep him out well into training camp. He’ll be a caveat emptor all-star in offseason drafts — the talent is obviously there and he barely even got to play with Jaxson Dart. His health remains a big question mark at this time.

Giants WR Malik Nabers told reporters if his body doesn’t feel right, he won’t play in Week 1 next season.
Nabers is recovering from surgery on his ACL and meniscus. The 22-year-old receiver told reporters Monday, “My target date is when my body feels good to get out there and I can continue to be who I am.” As for Week 1, Nabers said, “If my body doesn’t feel right (Week 1) then I’m not going to play.” Previous reports expected him to be good to go for the start of the 2026 season, though Nabers has at least introduced the possibility that his return might take longer.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Malik Nabers is expected to undergo surgery on his ACL and meniscus later this week.
According to Rapoport, Nabers has been doing “prehab” ahead of the surgery, strengthening the area around his knee before he goes under the knife. That is why Nabers has waited a month to undergo surgery. As expected, Rapoport said he “should be good to go” for the start of the 2025 season. Nabers has dealt with a myriad of injuries since entering the league. Though the ACL tear is a frustrating setback in his second season, the time off will help him get past the other issues he was dealing with, namely a lingering shoulder issue. Nabers remains a WR1 for dynasty purposes, even if fantasy managers won’t see him until next year.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Malik Nabers is expected to undergo surgery this week for a torn ACL and a torn meniscus.
The good news is that Nabers is expected to be back for the start of training camp. Per Schefter, the time off will also allow a partially torn labrum and a turf toe injury to heal. Nabers is seemingly dealing with some minor injury every week and the toe issue has been a problem since his days at LSU. As Schefter notes, Nabers will likely be the healthiest he has been since high school the next time we see him on a practice field. His injury was a crushing blow to fantasy managers, but it shouldn’t affect the broader outlook of his career. Wan’Dale Robinson will operate as the team’s top wideout for the remainder of the season. Darius Slayton will handle more work as an intermediate and deep threat.

Malik Nabers suffered a torn ACL in the Giants’ Week 4 win over the Chargers, ending his season.
The worst was confirmed early Monday morning, as Nabers, one of the league’s top talents at receiver, will now miss the rest of the season. Nabers is just the latest victim to fall victim to the turf at MetLife Stadium, as his season now ends with an 18-271-2 line on 35 targets. The second-year receiver was on an early place to replicate his rookie campaign numbers when he ripped off 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns on 109 receptions, and will be 23 at the start of next season. Assuming all goes well with his recovery, Nabers should remain a first-round draft pick in 2026 fantasy drafts and could be in line for a career year if Jaxson Dart pans out at quarterback.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Malik Nabers is “believed” to have torn his right ACL in Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Awful news, but the expected outcome after Nabers’ knee buckled planting for a second quarter leap. Nabers will miss the rest of the 2025 season, but getting hurt at this stage of the game means he will have a good shot of being ready for Week 1, 2026. That’s cold comfort for fantasy managers, and for a Giants team trying to break in a first-round rookie quarterback. Nabers’ rugged playing style has led to huge early NFL success, but has also lent itself to endless nicks and bruises. It must be said, though, that today’s injury was more of the fluke variety. Still only 22 years old, Nabers remains an elite Dynasty league asset despite the setback.

Malik Nabers was carted from the Giants’ Week 4 game against the Chargers with a right knee injury.
Nabers was formally ruled out at halftime. Leaping to make a potential down-field catch in the second quarter, Nabers’ right leg buckled as he planted to leap. He was then seen grabbing his knee in mid-air before coming down. The Giants immediately called for the cart. Nabers put a towel over his head as he was being taken to the locker room. Nabers frequently limps on and off the field, but this certainly appeared different than his usual injury issues. Fantasy managers need to be prepared for the worst.

Giants WR Malik Nabers (shoulder) is not on New York’s final Week 4 injury report.
As expected, Nabers will start and play against the Chargers in Week 4. We’re expecting some target shuffling for the Giants with Jaxson Dart running the show, but nothing that should make Nabers anything but a WR1 play at this point.

Giants WR Malik Nabers (shoulder) returned to practice on Thursday.
No word yet on Nabers’ participation level. We expect him to be limited today, with decent odds of upgrading to full on Friday. The Giants already have the 22-year-old superstar on a veteran practice plan, which makes sense. Nabers is a game-tilting talent who has been listed with six different injuries in his young career. He is an elite WR1 against the Chargers in Week 4.

Malik Nabers did not practice on Wednesday.
Giants head coach Brian Daboll didn’t say why Nabers is absent from today’s practice, but it likely has something to do with the hard hit he took in Week 3 against the Chiefs. Russell Wilson threw a jump ball in the end zone to Nabers, who was promptly sandwiched between two Chiefs defenders before slamming into the turf. Nabers briefly left the game but was back on the field after a once-over by the training staff. Nabers is constantly dealing with some minor injury. He almost always finds a way to play through his various ailments. We will expect the same from him this week for now. It was later confirmed that Nabers is dealing with a shoulder injury.
