    Titans signed OT Marshall Newhouse.
Newhouse has been on the practice squad for the last two weeks, but he’ll be a swing tackle for the Titans with first-round RT Isaiah Wilson away from the team. Newhouse brings experience to an offensive line that’s been rotating members around for the last two months.

  • Raiders released RT Marshall Newhouse.
The move clears $2.25 million in cap space, and leaves behind no dead money. Newhouse was one of the league’s least-effective tackles last season. He turns 30 in September.
  • Bills signed OT Marshall Newhouse, formerly of the Raiders, to a one-year contract.
Newhouse, 29, was released by the Raiders last week. He started all 14 games he appeared in for Oakland last season and has 70 career starts under his belt. Ideally, Newhouse would be a swing tackle, but he’ll likely compete with Jordan Mills and others for the starting right tackle job in Buffalo.
  • Raiders signed OT Marshall Newhouse, formerly of the Giants, to a two-year, $3.5 million contract.
The Giants’ No. 3 tackle last season, Newhouse should slide into the same role in Oakland. He’s a replacement for Menelik Watson, who has departed for the Broncos. Newhouse provides insurance for RT Austin Howard, who is rehabbing from serious shoulder surgery.
  • Coach Jack Del Rio said Marshall Newhouse is currently the Raiders’ starting right tackle.
It’ll come down to Newhouse and Austin Howard. It’s the only spot up for grabs on the Raiders’ offense after Menelik Watson left for the Broncos. Howard is rehabbing from shoulder surgery, and Newhouse inked a two-year pact in March. Newhouse was the Giants’ No. 3 tackle last season, failing to beat out RT Bobby Hart. Newhouse knows GM Reggie McKenzie from Green Bay.
  • Raiders coach Jon Gruden said RT Marshall Newhouse was inconsistent in 2017.
“We had some inconsistency at right tackle, obviously,” Gruden said. “Newhouse, he had some moments where he played well. He had some moments where he obviously struggled.” The entire offensive line underachieved, but Newhouse was the clear weak link. It sounds like Gruden will look to replace him this offseason.
  • Patriots LT Isaiah Wynn will undergo an MRI Monday.
A toe injury limited him to 12 snaps against the Dolphins in Week 2. Wynn could be dealing with turf toe, which would not be ideal for the Patriots, who are already without starters David Andrews (blood clot) and Marcus Cannon (shoulder) on their offensive line. Marshall Newhouse, who joined the Patriots last week, would be the favorite to spell Wynn at left tackle should he miss time.
  • Patriots LT Isaiah Wynn left Sunday’s Week 2 game against the Dolphins with a foot injury and will not return.
Wynn hobbled off late in the first quarter before heading to the locker room for treatment. With Marcus Cannon (shoulder) also shelved, the Patriots are playing without both of their starting tackles. Newcomer Marshall Newhouse will protect Tom Brady’s blind side in Wynn’s absence.
  • Patriots signed OT Marshall Newhouse.
Newhouse spent the summer with the Saints but was released with an injury settlement at final cuts. He’s now healthy and joining a Patriots team that lost RT Marcus Cannon to an injury Week 1. Newhouse appeared in 14 games for the Bills and Panthers last season and has gobs of starting experience at 30 years old.
  • Saints released OT Marshall Newhouse (undisclosed) with an injury settlement.
Newhouse made a total of 14 appearances for the Bills and Panthers last season, but was placed on injured reserve at the end of August with an undisclosed injury. A veteran 72-game starter since initially entering the league in 2011, Newhouse will end up on another roster as a competent reserve.
