White Sox acquired LHP Andre Davis and RHP A.J. Puckett from the Royals in exchange for OF Melky Cabrera and cash considerations.
Davis, 23, has posted a 4.83 ERA in Low-A this season but has struck out over a batter per inning. He was not listed by MLB.com among the Royals’ top 30 prospects.
