    Orioles released OF Ben DeLuzio.
There simply isn’t any room left on Baltimore’s stacked organizational depth chart in the outfield for DeLuzio, who signed a minor league pact with the Orioles back in late May after being cut loose by the Dodgers. The 28-year-old outfielder got into 22 games last year for the Cubs in his big-league debut.

Orioles signed OF Ben DeLuzio to a minor league contract.
The 28-year-old outfielder was released by the Dodgers last week after hitting just .180 (16-for-89) with one homer and five stolen bases in 25 games at Triple-A Oklahoma City. He’ll add outfield depth for the O’s.

    Dodgers released OF Ben DeLuzio.
DeLuzio signed a minor league contract last month with Los Angeles and was hitting .180 (16-for-89) with one homer and five steals through 25 games this season for Triple-A Oklahoma City. The 28-year-old outfielder got into 22 games last year for the Cardinals and should be able to latch on somewhere else rather quickly.

Dodgers signed OF Ben DeLuzio to a minor league contract.
DeLuzio was granted his release by the Cubs after failing to make the Opening Day roster, but it didn’t take long for him to find a new home. The 28-year-old offers good speed and can play all over the outfield, so he’s useful depth to have around.

Cubs signed OF Ben DeLuzio to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
DeLuzio has latched on with the division-rival Cubs just a few weeks after being non-tendered by the Cardinals. The 28-year-old outfielder doesn’t offer much offensive upside, but he’s a skilled defender capable of patrolling all three outfield spots. He’ll compete this spring for a spot on the Cubs’ Opening Day roster as a reserve outfielder.

    Cardinais non-tendered OF Ben DeLuzio.
DeLuzio has good speed and can play center field, but he’s 28 and he’s probably never going to hit enough to stick. The former Diamondbacks prospect was 3-for-20 in limited action for the Cardinals last season after hitting .277/.353/.429 in Triple-A.

Cardinals selected the contract of OF Ben DeLuzio from Triple-A Memphis.
DeLuzio is one of the two September 1 callups for the Cardinals and will be joined soon by a pitcher. The 28-year-old has yet to appear in a major league game and probably won’t get many starts in the St. Louis outfield down the stretch, but he had racked up stolen 30 bases in 94 games this summer at Triple-A Memphis and makes sense as an addition to the bench for the current NL Central leaders.
