Brewers transferred OF Brandon Lockridge from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

Lockridge underwent arthroscopic knee surgery near the end of June, and isn’t expected to be back until the end of July at the earliest. This move opens up a space on the 40-man roster for Greg Jones, who was called up to replace David Hamilton (hamstring) in corresponding transactions.

Brandon Lockridge underwent arthroscopic knee surgery after suffering a setback.

Lockridge suffered the knee injury near the start of May, and while the original belief was that it was just a bone bruise, imaging on the knee revealed a chondral flap that required the operation. The hope is that Lockridge will be back at the end of July, but obviously there are no guarantees that he’ll be an option for the Brewers until near the end of the 2026 campaign.

The Brewers believe Brandon Lockridge will be back in mid-to-late June after an MRI showed a bone bruise in his leg.

Lockridge also suffered a severe laceration when his right leg slid into an unpadded corner of the wall at Miller Park last week. Blake Perkins and Tyler Black are in line for extra at-bats while Lockridge is out, though Black might soon be sent down to make room for Christian Yelich on the roster.

Brewers placed OF Brandon Lockridge on the 10-day injured list with a right knee laceration and contusion.

Brewers skipper Pat Murphy told reporters that Lockridge is “going to be out a while” after suffering a scary-looking knee injury during Friday’s game against the Yankees. The 29-year-old was carted off the field after sliding into the left-field wall while chasing a foul ball. X-rays came back negative, but Lockridge has been diagnosed with a deep laceration down to the bone in his knee. It’ll be Blake Perkins coming up from the minors to take his spot on Milwaukee’s bench.

Brewers’ manager Pat Murphy told reporters after Friday’s game that Brandon Lockridge (knee) is “going to be out a while”.

The good news is that X-rays on his injured knee came back negative for any fractures after he slid and collided with the concrete wall during Friday’s game. He suffered a deep laceration down to the bone though and it sounds like it’s going to take significant time to heal. Expect him to land on the injured list prior to Saturday’s contest.

Brandon Lockridge had to be carted off the field on Friday night after he collided with the concrete wall while attempting to make a sliding catch.

Lockridge was in a dead sprint and slid in an attempt to make the catch when he right knee collided with the concrete wall. He’ll obviously head for further testing to determine the severity of the injury. Expect the Brewers to provide an update as soon as more information becomes available.

Brandon Lockridge (hip) is not in the lineup for Monday’s game against the Red Sox.

Sal Frelick left the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Royals with left side tightness.

Brandon Lockridge pinch-ran for him after a fourth-inning single. A Frelick IL stint might get Luis Matos a look; he’s thus far been on the bench in four straight games since being acquired from the Giants.

Brandon Lockridge walked, swiped a base and scored a run as the Brewers bested the Diamondbacks in Cactus League competition on Friday.

Lockridge drew a start in right field and hit second for the Brewers in this one. He drew a one-out walk off of Mitch Bratt in the opening inning, swiped second base and scored the Brewers’ first run on a two-out RBI knock off the bat of Akil Baddoo. He looks to be fully recovered from the rotator cuff contusion that sidelined him earlier in the week.
