Braydon Fisher threw two scoreless innings with four strikeouts while being credited with a win Monday against the Rays.
Fisher got the final six outs and kept the Rays off the board even while having to deal with the zombie runner at second in both innings. The 25-year-old is now 7-0 on the season, and he’s forged a 2.78 ERA over 47 appearances with a K/BB of 60/16 across 45 1/3 innings. He should be a high-leverage option for the Jays again in 2026.

Blue Jays recalled RHP Braydon Fisher from Triple-A Buffalo.
The 25-year-old right-hander has done a terrific job for the Jays this season, posting a 3.03 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and a 50/12 K/BB ratio across 38 2/3 innings in his 41 appearances. He’ll give manager John Schneider another weapon to deploy in the middle innings. Dillon Tate was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move on Friday.

Blue Jays optioned RHP Braydon Fisher to Triple-A Buffalo.
Fisher heads back to the minors to clear a spot on Toronto’s active roster for Shane Bieber ahead of Friday’s series opener against the Marlins. The -year-old rookie has registered a solid 3.03 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 50/12 K/BB ratio across 38 2/3 innings (41 appearances, one start) in his first taste of the majors. He’s merely the victim of a roster crunch as one of the few relievers in the Blue Jays’ bullpen with minor-league options.

Braydon Fisher will start on Saturday against the Athletics.
Fisher will make his first career start after reeling off 8 1/3 scoreless frames over seven relief appearances for Toronto since being promoted to the majors back on May 7. He’s not a recommended streaming option for fantasy purposes, but it’s notable that he’s being given a more prominent role after some early-career success.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #69
Blue Jays selected the contract of RHP Braydon Fisher from Triple-A Buffalo.
Fisher joins Toronto’s pitching mix ahead of Wednesday’s contest against the Angels out in Los Angeles. It’s the first call up for the 24-year-old righty, who was acquired last June from the Dodgers in the Cavan Biggio trade. He figures to pitch in middle relief after posting a strong 2.38 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 14/4 K/BB ratio across 11 1/3 innings (nine appearances) this season at the Triple-A level.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Blue Jays acquired minor league reliever Braydon Fisher from the Dodgers for INF/OF Cavan Biggio.
It’s a bit of an underwhelming return for Biggio, but the 29-year-old hasn’t produced much this season which likely dampened his value. Fisher was a fourth-round pick for the Dodgers in 2018 and was moved to the bullpen following the COVID-canceled 2020 minor league season. He got off to a strong start in Double-A this season, posting a 3.68 ERA and 14:5 K:BB ratio in 7 1/3 innings, but things have not been as good at Triple-A, where he has a 6.94 ERA and 16:10 K:BB ratio in 11 2/3 innings. He figures to serve as organizational bullpen depth for the Blue Jays.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Dodgers acquired INF/OF Cavan Biggio from the Blue Jays for minor league reliever Braydon Fisher.
The 29-year-old Biggio was waived by Toronto last week after hitting .200/.323/.291 with two home runs in 131 plate appearances in 2024. It was a disappointing start to the season after Biggio seemed to unlock something in the second half of last season when he hit .272/.404/.361 in 52 games. Over the last two seasons, Biggio has played every position in the field other than pitcher and catcher, so the Dodgers clearly see some value in his ability to move on all over and post near 80 percent contact rates. We’ll see if they can get a new level of production out of him, but he should remain on fantasy waiver wires for now.
