Brent Rooker hit his 30th homer, a two-run blast off Brayan Bello, to help the A’s beat the Red Sox 5-3 on Thursday.
The home run was his third in five games. Rooker is still nine homers shy of last year’s total, though he does have more extra-base hits this season; he currently has 40 doubles, compared to 26 last season.

Brent Rooker went 3-for-4 with his 27th round-tripper of the season in Saturday’s loss to the Rangers.
Rooker was one of the few bright spots for the Athletics in this one as they fell behind early and never were able to mount a serious challenge. The -year-old All-Star slugger took Rangers veteran starter Merrill Kelly deep for a third-inning solo blast, his fourth big fly in 26 games since the outset of August.

The A’s will play home six games in Las Vegas next year in June against the Brewers and Rockies.
It’s another little offensive boost for A’s hitters, who have already benefitted from the move to Sacramento this year. The A’s will be playing at Las Vegas Ballpark, the current home of their Triple-A affiliate. That team, the Aviators, is currently averaging 7.8 runs per game at home, with 103 homers in 63 games. They average 5.8 runs and have totaled 65 games in 63 road games.

Jacob Wilson is batting fifth for the third straight game on Sunday against the Mariners.
Wilson finds himself in the lower half of Athletics manager Mark Kotsay’s lineup card for the third straight contest since returning from the injured list. The 23-year-old’s contact-oriented skillset is suited for a table-setting role, but the Athletics want to maximize the number of plate appearances rookie slugger Nick Kurtz and Shea Langeliers are getting ahead of Brent Rooker and Tyler Soderstrom, which bumps Wilson from the top of the order for now.

Brent Rooker hit a solo homer in a loss to the Mariners on Friday.
Rooker has just three hits in 22 at-bats against Bryan Woo, but all three of them have gone over the fence. The 30-year-old scorched a solo shot off Woo in the first to give the A’s a 1-0 lead and Rooker his 26th homer of the season. His .843 OPS doesn’t come close to matching the outstanding .927 he posted in 2024, but there’s obviously a ton of fantasy relevance in what Rooker has done in 2025.

Brent Rooker went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI against the Orioles on Saturday.
Rooker gave the A’s the lead in the third inning with a three-run blast off Brandon Young. He brought a fourth run in on a double in the fifth. The 30-year-old slugger is up to 24 homers and 70 RBI while slashing .274/.346/.500 across 518 plate appearances.

Brent Rooker had four hits, including two doubles, and three RBI against the Nationals on Tuesday.
Rooker matched his season high in hits, RBI and runs (three) and still didn’t lead the A’s in any of those categories in the 16-7 romp tonight.

Brent Rooker went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer to power the Athletics to a 6-1 win over the Mariners on Tuesday.
Rooker’s lone hit of the game was a big one as he took Logan Evans deep for a three-run shot in the third inning to put the A’s on the board. The 30-year-old slugger is up to 22 homers while hitting a solid .272/.347/.496 with 67 runs scored and 61 RBI across 477 plate appearances.

Brent Rooker went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a triple, a home run and two RBI against the Guardians on Friday.
Rooker’s home run was No. 21 on the season for him. The 30-year-old outfielder crushed a solo shot off Slade Cecconi in the fifth inning. Rooker was one of the stars of the All-Star break as he participated in the home run derby and hit a three-run home run in the All-Star Game as well as two more home runs in the swing-off. Rooker is hitting .281 with an .875 OPS and 56 on the year.

Brent Rooker walloped a three-run homer during Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park in Atlanta.
Rooker slashed the American League’s deficit in half with a sixth-inning blast against Giants reliever Randy Rodríguez that traveled 407 feet. No word on how many inches. He also blasted two big flies during the swing-off tiebreaker, but it still wasn’t enough to lead the American League to a comeback win.
