Brenton Doyle went 2-for-3 with a triple, RBI and a pair of runs scored as the Rockies bested the Diamondbacks 13-2 in Cactus League action on Thursday.
Doyle led off the fourth inning with a triple off of Drey Jameson and scored the Rockies’ first run on an RBI single off the bat of TJ Rumfield. The 27-year-old outfielder then tied the game at 2-2 with an RBI single in the fifth before once again scoring on an RBI knock from Rumfield. He also drew a walk in the sixth, reaching base in three of his four plate appearances. Doyle is having a terrific spring offensively, hitting .412 (7-for-17) with no homers, six RBI and one stolen base.

Rockies OF Brenton Doyle (wrist) hit in the batting cage on Wednesday and believes he can play tomorrow.
Doyle has missed a little over a week since leaving last Wednesday’s game against the Cubs with left wrist inflammation. This is a positive update on it that makes it seem likely it won’t linger into the regular season.

Rockies’ outfielder Brenton Doyle has been diagnosed with a left wrist sprain.
Doyle underwent imaging on his wrist after he was scratched from Wednesday’s game due to inflammation. He’s going to be shut down to rest for a few days before being re-evaluated. The Rockies are obviously going to take every possible precaution here and not push him, so it’s possible that Doyle may not be ready for Opening Day.

Rockies OF Brenton Doyle (wrist) underwent imaging after being scratched on Wednesday.
There are no results yet, but the fact that the Rockies sprung for imaging could mean that Doyle’s wrist injury is more serious than initially thought. Stay tuned.

Brenton Doyle was scratched from Wednesday’s game against the Cubs with left wrist inflammation.
The Rockies have said that Doyle’s removal from the lineup was just precautionary, but it’s something to keep an eye on over the next few days.

Brenton Doyle went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles in an 11-6 win Saturday over the Diamondbacks.
Doyle was picked off as his one blemish. The 27-year-old regressed hard in 2025 after a breakout 2024 season, but even if he finds middle ground between the two campaigns, there’s a decent chance he’ll be a competent fantasy option in 2026.

Rockies agreed to terms with OF Brenton Doyle on a one-year, $3.1 million contract.
Doyle is a Super Two player, so he still has four seasons left before free agency. He’s come up in trade rumors this winter, but the Rockies need to hold on to him as their defensive anchor in center and hope that he bounces back to 2024 levels offensively. If that happens, he’ll have considerably more trade value next winter.

The Padres, Mets, Phillies and Yankees are among the teams to have inquired about the Rockies’ Brenton Doyle, a source told 7News’s Ari Alexander.
The Rockies might be selling low on Doyle to move him now after a tough season in which he dealt with a family tragedy, but there’s still evidentially a pretty strong market for a 27-year-old who rates as one of the game’s top defensive center fielders and who flashed some legitimate offensive potential in 2024. It’d still might make more sense to keep him; he’s four years away from free agency and the organization doesn’t have anyone else capable of handling center field in Coors.

Brenton Doyle is on the bench for Monday’s series opener against the Dodgers.
It’s been a tale of two halves for Doyle this season as he’s quietly been one of the most consistent hitters in the fantasy landscape since the All-Star break, batting .345 (48-for-139) with seven homers and seven steals over 40 games. He batted just .202 (62-for-307) with seven big flies and nine steals in 82 first-half contests.
